Politisk turism kan allts\u00e5 omfatta solidaritetsresor, resor arrangerade av politiska organisationer eller intressegrupper, delegationsresor till realiserade utopier i \u00d6st samt resor, som innebar aktivt deltagande i inb\u00f6rdeskrig eller antiimperialistisk kamp, och det inneh\u00e5ller ocks\u00e5 homosexuellas resor till Berlin under 1920-talet.  Politisk turism \u00e4r d\u00e4rf\u00f6r ett brett forskningsf\u00e4lt i f\u00f6rh\u00e5llande till gruppen av resen\u00e4rer och resem\u00e5l, i f\u00f6rh\u00e5llande till den betydelsen resan fick och i f\u00f6rh\u00e5llande till de platser som beskrevs i reseskildringarna.<\/p>\n<p>Inom forskningen om politisk turism har tyngdpunkten hittills legat p\u00e5 perioden efter 1945, p\u00e5 v\u00e4sterl\u00e4ndska resor och p\u00e5 det politiska engagemanget i sn\u00e4vare partipolitisk mening. I detta temanummer efterlyser vi emellertid artiklar d\u00e4r f\u00f6rh\u00e5llandet till kronologi, geografi och tematik kan utvidga tidigare fokus. Vi vill d\u00e4rf\u00f6r g\u00e4rna ha artiklar som exempelvis kan belysa:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resen\u00e4rer och resor fr\u00e5n b\u00e5de 1900- och 2000-talet<\/li>\n<li>Resen\u00e4rer fr\u00e5n och resor till alla v\u00e4rldens regioner<\/li>\n<li>Resen\u00e4rer vars politiska engagemang syftade till k\u00f6ns-, ras-, familje-, kulturpolitisk eller sexuell frig\u00f6relse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Likas\u00e5 efterlyser vi artiklar, som kan ge inblick i politiska, sociala och kulturella relationer som var avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r resen\u00e4ren, reseupplevelsen och reseber\u00e4ttelsen.<\/p>\n<p>Skicka g\u00e4rna ett abstract p\u00e5 max en A4 sida <strong>senast den 15 januari<\/strong> till antingen<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Silke Neunsinger<\/strong>, silke.neunsinger (snabel-a) arbark.se eller<\/li>\n<li><strong>Iben Vyff<\/strong>, vyff (snabel-a) hum.ku.dk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Deadline f\u00f6r artiklarna \u00e4r den 15 juni 2010.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vi ser fram emot ditt bidrag!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Arbetarhistoria och Arbejderhistorie \u00e4r tidskrifter f\u00f6r historia, kultur och politik. Tidskrifterna redigeras utifr\u00e5n en bred definition av arbetarhistoria och inneh\u00e5ller f\u00f6rutom artiklar om arbetarr\u00f6relsen ocks\u00e5 artiklar om k\u00f6n, familj, h\u00e4lsa och andra \u00e4mnen inom 1900- och 2000-talets social- och id\u00e9historia. F\u00f6r ytterligare information om tidskrifterna se respektive hemsida <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfah.dk\">www.sfah.dk<\/a> och <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arbetarhistoria.se\">www.arbetarhistoria.se<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a name=\"en\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Call for papers: political tourism<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Swedish Arbetarhistoria and Danish Arbejderhistorie are planning a joint issue on political tourism to be published in 2011.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By \u2018political tourism&#8217; we mean journeys with a political purpose, politically arranged journeys and journeys to political destinations. Political tourism may include for example journeys made in the name of solidarity, journeys arranged by political organisations or interest groups, the tours of political delegations to the new utopia in the east, or journeys involving active participation in civil wars or in anti-imperialist action.  It may also include for example trips made by homosexuals to Berlin in the 1920s. Political tourism is thus broadly defined, in relation to travellers and their destinations, to the meanings of the journeys, and to the sources where the travel experiences are described.<\/p>\n<p>Until now research on political tourism has mostly concentrated on the period after 1945, on western travellers and on political engagement in the narrow sense of party politics. In this special issue we welcome articles exploring political tourism from broader chronological, geographical and thematic perspectives. We would be particularly interested in articles that are concerned with the following, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travellers and journeys from the first half of the 20th century or earlier<\/li>\n<li>Travellers from and journeys to different  regions of the world<\/li>\n<li>Travellers motivated by the politics of gender, ethnicity, family, culture or sexual liberation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the same time we are looking for contributions which offer insights into the political, social and cultural relations that shaped the traveller, the experience of travelling and\/or the travelogue.<\/p>\n<p>Please send your abstract (1 page maximum) by <strong>15 January 2010 at the latest<\/strong>, either to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Silke Neunsinger<\/strong>, silke.neunsinger (at) arbark.se or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Iben Vyff<\/strong>, vyff (at) hum.ku.dk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The deadline for the submission of articles is 15 June 2010.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are looking forward to your contribution!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Arbetarhistoria and Arbejderhistorie are journals of history, culture and politics.
