We accept copy orders of materials from our library and archive collections. These can be copies of documents, photographs, films, audio files, etc. Copies from the library can also be sent through inter-library requests from a library affiliated with the Libris collaboration.
If you order copies of the image material, be sure to state:
- Description: Caption, motif, year, title or similar information.
- Author: Photographer, photo agency, or similar.
- Path: Archive, volume, and image numbers.
Delivery time
Normally, we deliver the copies within one month of placing the order.

Rates
- We charge an administrative fee for high-resolution files.
- We distinguish between commercial and individual (private) use.
For commercial use, we charge a user fee. We do not do this when used for private or scientific purposes, for historians and the like, for non-profit associations, or fornon-commercial educational activities.
What you pay is our fees plus any copyright owner’s requirements for publication.

Copyright
As a commissioner, you are responsible for investigating rights and permits and paying the additional copyright fee. In the case of us owning the copyright, no extra fee regarding additional copyright fee is charged.
We have a copyright agreement for copies of sound and video from the collections of the Labour Movement’s archive and library. This agreement applies to any form of audience, public or commercial use, including YouTube views.
Delivery
If you want paper copies of images, we send these to an external photographer which will include their separate price list. We deliver digitally through:
- E-mail – Maximum 25 MB
- FTP – Instructions will be sent upon delivery
