The Swedish Labour Movement Archives and Library is relocating in 2027, which will result in changes to our operations and the accessibility of our facilities for visitors and researchers for a period of time.
Our operations will be closed from May 1 through August 16, 2027 due to the move. During this period, it will not be possible to visit the archives or the library.
We will reopen on August 17, 2027, at Sveavägen 68.
Requests and material retrieval
Through April 2027, you may continue to request materials as usual during our opening hours. Please note, however, that during 2027, we will limit material retrieval from our storage facility to once per day.
If you need to request materials to be available for your use upon our reopening, please submit your request no later than August 13.
Changes to visitor access
We ask that visitors plan their visits in accordance with our opening hours. We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause and thank you for your understanding and patience during the relocation.
